It was my birthday last week and I think it’s safe to say I was truly spoilt by all my friends and family! I don’t want to ramble on about what I received too much so I thought I’d talk about a few of my favourite things instead of absolutely everything.
I’ll start on bags because I received so many bags I think I’m sorted for a while! My favourite was my Kurt Geiger Darla Tote, but I am also loving the fluffy clutch bag too as this will look gorgeous with a simple dress on a night out. I love the croc effect on the black bag as this gives such a elegant touch to a low key outfit, the focus would be on the bag. The brown bag with black handles is more of a dress down bag that would look nice with a jumper, pair of jeans and a leather jacket or trench coat. I’ve been wearing this sort of outfit a lot lately due to the cold weather, so I’m sure I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. The small croc effect brown bag will look lovely in the summer with summer dresses. I love that this bag has three different compartments so I can keep my things organised and won’t be rummaging around for ages trying to find anything!
Next up is a couple of beauty pieces. I was lucky enough to be treated to the eyeshadow palette I’d been drooling over by Connor, and even a new foundation. I honestly love this eyeshadow palette so much it’s unreal. MAC’s Burgundy Time Nine is out of this world beautiful and I literally squealed when I opened the box! Lets just take a second to really appreciate the beauty of it… Okay, done. The foundation was also a huge winner as I love having a spare Studio Fix just in case the one I’m using breaks or I lose it. I was so happy to unwrap these two gifts and I can’t wait to start using the eyeshadows.
I received a few more beauty items – people really know the way to my heart! I was going to buy this Benefit set before Christmas, but I decided not to for some reason that I can’t remember. Luckily enough my mum bought me it for my birthday and I’m so excited to get it open and use everything! I have been looking at the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes for months, but when pregnant I’ve wanted to spend as much money as possible on baby clothes and all the other things needed before spending too much on myself. I was so excited when I opened these brushes. I have heard nothing but good things about them and I can’t wait to use them!
My the girls I was treated to some lovely Thornton’s chocolates. It’s fair to say they didn’t last long because I’m so gutty and couldn’t wait to dive into them. I was also kindly treated to a Lush gift set that contains two of my favourite items; Unicorn Horn bubble bar and Titsy Totsy bath bomb. They also got my a gift card to receive a Pregnancy Back Massage at The Beauty Retreat, which is so thoughtful and sweet of them I couldn’t thank them enough. I actually welled up a little when I opened it and realised what it was!
I appreciate all that I got including the accessories, clothes and shoes! I’m one lucky girl!
