It’s been a long week, and we can finally let our hair down for the weekend. Ironic as I’ve decided to wear my hair up today. This look is great for a night out, you can level it up with a deeper use of colour in the crease, eyeliner or false eyelashes. I like to keep my make up quite simplistic, especially when using a colour I wouldn’t usually. Of course, I’m using my beloved Balm Jovi palette once again. It’s all I’m using at the moment, so bare with me, okay?
I used my MAC Studio Fix foundation instead of my usual Rimmel because I want to make sure I stay flawless and have amazing coverage all night. I also paired a MAC nude lipstick which I can’t remember the name off the top of my head (sorry) as I wanted the eyes to be the focus point of this look.
Time to grab your Balm Jovi palette, on to the eyes. To begin, I took Metal-ica on inner corner of my eye to give the illusion of my eyes being bigger. I then pat it over the inner half of my lid. I don’t use this shade a lot, but I really should from now on. It has a really nice light shimmer to it and brightens the eye area.
On the outer half of the eyelid, pack on some Alice Copper and blend in the centre of the lid. This will create that smooth ombre effect. With a smaller brush, take a fair amount through the outer V to create depth in the crease. Take some Alice Copper along the bottom lash line to the inner corner. Blend it out with a little bit of Metal-ica.
Finish with some mascara. You can choose to use eyeliner or false eyelashes to make the look more dramatic.
I hope you enjoy this look, let me know if you try it!
