What I Watched (Favourite TV Show / Film I Watched)
Every year I tell myself I’m not going to get sucked into watching it, but I just can’t help myself. Of course, I’m talking about Big Brother! I know there’s better things to be watching, but the line up for this season was so good for me because I knew most of them, and c’mon, who doesn’t love David Gest?! I also love Scotty T, and Daniella Westbrook has always interested me because she’s been through so much and is so true to herself!
What I Snapped (Favourite Photo)
I took this photo in a local cocktail bar called Bar 38 when I went for a couple of (non-alcoholic for me) drinks with my friends to celebrate my birthday. I love the decor, I love the theme off the place. It’s very rustic and I just thought it was a great photo from a great night.
Who I Love (Favourite Person)
My favourite person this month has been myself. Without trying to sound full of myself, but I mean this in a sense of I’ve really taken time this month to look after myself and make myself feel as human as possible. I’ve been making small lifestyle changes this month to really look after my body, my health and my mind. I feel like pregnancy had been getting on top of me at the start of the month, and now again towards the end of it too, but by making these small changes I managed to feel like myself again in no time.
What I Wore (Favourite Item of Clothing)
I bought a pair of Puma Trainers on Amazon in the Warehouse Deals section for an absolute bargain price of £10!! I wanted to get a new pair of Converse, but it’s been far too cold and wet for thin canvas shoes so I decided a pair of trainers was the way to go. They’re so comfortable and looks good with anything. I’ve been living in them the last month because the only other shoes that will keep my feet dry are boots and being 7 months pregnant that’s the last thing I want to be wearing 24/7.
What I Did (Favourite Pass Time)
I have slept so much this last month, and somehow still managed to feel like I need more it’s ridiculous. Everyone loves sleep, but I’ve probably spent more time sleeping than I have been awake. I need to start livening up because before I know it my baby will be here making me more tired so I need to make the most of these next couple of months!
What I Ate (Favourite Food)
I have an actual craving for Cadbury yoghurts. Not Cadbury chocolate, but the yoghurts. It doesn’t help that they’re always on offer in Co-Op and Tesco either! I was literally going through two a day at  one point, I’m slowly cutting down now because they’re SO bad for me, but I can’t help it!
What I Drank (Favourite Drink)
I’ve made a goal to drink more water so I’ve been drinking at least 2 litres a day for the last few weeks. I’ve slowly cut out drinking Coke and sugary, carbonated drinks and I can’t stand them in large quantities anymore. I’ve been loving the effects drinking water has had on me and I feel so much better for making the change. To read more about this, click here.
Where I Went (Favourite Place / Event / Location)
This month was the month of my birthday! I decided to have a night out that included drinks, food and a trip to the casino. This whole night is my favourite place this month because I had so much fun and it was so nice to see everyone. It was also nice to get a bit of beginners luck on roulette and practically win back my money spent that evening.
What I Heard (Favourite Song / Noise)
My favourite song this month is the new The Last Shadow Puppets track, Bad Habits. It was released, finally, after years of anticipation. I love TLSP anyway, Alex Turner and Miles Kane are amazing solo or in any projects they work on and the TLSP sound is so different from both Arctic Monkeys and their solo careers. The way they introduce and work with an orchestral sound works so well and I am pleased with this new single – I have it on repeat constantly. It’s a shame that their London tour date is two days after my due date, I’ve been waiting years for this!
What I Used (Favourite Thing I Used)
It’s quite difficult to pick one thing, but I think this month my favourite thing has been my notepad. I have made many lists and many notes this month about many different things. My memory has been like a sieve and without writing everything down I would not be anywhere near as organised as I am right now.
