I often hear people talk about how cleaning their make up brushes is such a long winded process and they really hate doing it. More often than not they’ll simply be using hot water and some sort of soapy substance, but I couldn’t be doing with soaking my brushes for hours, cleaning them, then letting them soak more when I have an alternative that takes a fraction of the time.
To clean my make up brushes I simply use No.7 Make Up Brush Cleaner. It’s as easy as it sounds, and does exactly what it says on the tin – well, bottle! I simply use 3/4 squirts onto an old towel, then gently rub the bristles of my brush into it. It cleans to quickly and leaves my brushes feeling so soft. Don’t press too hard with your brush otherwise you can cause damage to your brush bristles, but as long as you use gently it is very effective is such a short amount of time.
To clean my entire collection, it takes me around 5-10 minutes to thoroughly clean it. I then lay them flat overnight to dry without damaging the bristles. When I want to use them in the morning, I gently swirl them on the towel to get any left over product. Then they’re ready to go!
It’s really that easy, you’re welcome! For a price of £8 a bottle is so worth the price. An added bonus is that it lasts months, despite me washing my brushes weekly. I can’t complain when it comes to this product. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a make up brush cleaner.
