When people talk about what contour kit to use most responses will be about Smashbox or Anastasia Beverly Hills. I’ve not really heard many people raving about the Collection Contour Kit, but there definitely should be more people talking about it.
Reigning in at what I believe to be the lowest price for a contour kit on the high street, it’s hard not to love it already. Will you really miss the £4.19 it costs for this contour kit if you didn’t like it in comparison to the £35 it costs for others? In all honesty, I don’t see how anyone can not like this product.
I’ll start off with the sculpting shade. Sometimes I find them to be quite orange, but this is the perfect tone and creates such an amazing shadowed effect on my cheekbones. The palette is highly pigmented so you don’t need to use a lot for the perfect cheekbones, and it also means that it’s going to last forever! I love the fact you can build up on the colour too and by doing so it blends out amazingly – I wouldn’t recommend putting on the amount you want straight away as it can be difficult to blend and could look a bit muddy.
The highlight of this palette blows my mind every time I wear it. With it being high in pigmentation it gives the most amazing finish with the littlest amount of product. The shine it gives is out of this world stunning, and I can’t help putting on so much to make myself look like an angel. It gives such a natural looking glow, and can also be built up on same as the sculpt shade.
I’d give this product a high rating for sure. It can be a bit chalky if you apply too much to begin with causing it to be difficult to blend, but this can easily be avoided by building up on the colours. At £4.19 I can’t believe the amazing value for money this product is, and it’s so compact too so is easy to take out with you in a clutch bag. The packaging has a little mirror inside, and holds a considerable amount of product too.
