So, cracking on… Today I’m going to be talking about a couple of my Autumn favourites. I have a few of these lined up, so let me know if you enjoy it or not!
Today’s post is about the lipstick shades I l.o.v.e at the moment. They’re pretty different from each other, but I feel like you’ll have an outfit that will go with either of them every day. They’re very autumnal shades; the weather’s getting colder so there’s a warm shade and a bright shade. I vary the colours daily to match my outfit, or my mood (and then match my outfit).
My favourite of the two is, of course, the dark berry purple. This I find is just a cosy and warm shade. The shade I’m using of this is Rimmel London 128 Starry Eyed. This is a great everyday shade, even if you’re having one of them days when you don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup. I think this shade looks best when wearing a bit of gold eyeshadow and a bit of a glowy face. I find this look to be so festive and autumnal, I love it!
It’s also a gorgeous shade for a night out. If you’re using this for a night out then very big makeup is a great look. Contour your cheeks for defined cheekbones, and a big catty eyeliner and a bit of brown eyeshadow. I live by this shade of lipstick (and if you can’t tell, I live by Rimmel at the moment!)
The other shade I adore at the moment is another Rimmel London lipstick – 660 In Love With Ginger. I love this shade as it’s nice and bright for those days you feel dull and a bit sluggish. It’s orange, which might not be for everyone, but I love it. I’m not the darkest skinned and I’m not the lightest, but I feel like this shade (and the other) would suit any skin tone. It gets me really festive and looks really nice with a simplistic makeup look, but with a bit of contouring.I use these shades every day, and forever mixing them between day and night. I highly recommend these shades if you’re looking for a nice Autumn shade. If you’re wanting to try them then let me know, and if you want to see certain things on this blog please let me know.
