If you’ve been keeping up a lot over the last couple of months, you’ll know I’ve been trying different products to tackle oily skin. I bought this Biore Cleanser to see how I got on with it as it’s great for what I wanted. Biore is a brand I’ve heard about a lot – especially for their nose strips. So I knew that it was a brand that was trusted. It’s also super affordable so I couldn’t wait to see how it worked in comparison to some of my more pricey cleansers.

When looking at the product online, it claims to purify pores and deeply cleanse, leaving skin tingly-smooth. It has been infused with Japanese Skin Purifying Technology, helping to make your pores twice as clean after just one use. Everything this Biore Cleanser was promising sounds amazing. It sounded perfect for me, so I decided to put it to the test to see if it actually worked.

The first thing I noticed when I used this product for the first time was how refreshing it felt. I felt really awake and revitalised after using it! It also made my skin, as claimed, tingly smooth. The only way I can describe how my face felt is like how your mouth feels after you’ve brushed your teeth. I loved the fact that I could almost feel it working, dragging the crap out of my skin. After just this one cleanse, I don’t know if I’d say twice as clean, but my skin felt incredibly clean. So far so good…

I know it’s a cleanser, but I often use it to also take my makeup off at the end of the day. It’s replaced my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for a while as I wanted to compare the two. I use the same technique for both to make it fair. To be completely honest, there isn’t too much of a difference. I still prefer my Liz Earle to the Biore Cleanser, just because it’s more gentle on my eyes. That’s the only flaw with the Biore Cleanser, it does sting my eyes sometimes. However, it does say to keep away from eyes so I guess that’s my own fault!

After using this for a couple of months now, I can say that I do really love this cleanser as a great affordable option. My skin has never felt cleaner after using this every single day. I feel like it’s gotten all the grime and dirt out of my skin, and my pores are so much more minimal. Like I mentioned, I bought this product because it said that it was great for oily skin. It has worked great in preventing oil producing, but also the effects the oil has on my skin. It has prevented blemishes and skin problems before they’ve gotten a chance to develop into anything.

Clearly, this product has been great in my books. I would highly recommend it to anyone have issues with oily skin like myself. I don’t think I would if you’ve got dry skin as it may make your skin feel more dehydrated. Of course, it’s up to you if you want to try it though. However, if you’re struggling with oil, especially now it’s Summer, I’d definitely give this a go. I’m really pleased with this cleanser, it’s made me want to try more Biore products in the future!
